I bought house on 6th year h1....there is no comparison with those who came 20 years ago...they probably got GC in their 4rth year....its not that current generation is reckless...they basically came to a conclusion that GC is not going to happen anytime soon. | ||

My 2 cents of R&D and data analysis... I noticed that if PD is between 2011 and 2015 and has a minor flaw in filing then the application is denied...if it is just first extension then even major flaws are being overlooked..2008 to 2010 PD's seems to be faring better. | ||

one way, this would have been avoided...provided they didn't venture to buy homes n costly furniture...n if they stayed in an apartment until they got their greencard in hand, most of their current losses would not have been there... but...zindagi kaa naam majboori..peer pressure...thokka thotakura...tho jumped into bandwagon of buying bigasss homes...n now feeling the heat is ridiculous... whatever, stay close to reality, if not, when it bites u hard...don't worry... 2 cousins going back to India this Weekend for Good, both were on H1's for the past 7-8 years, H1B petition refused to approval, all their routes are closed... both have kids, n homes..got married 3-4 years back... One side, All doors closed in US, but DOORS to India open for good... But at what cost will be the question going forward... They themselves not sure on how to get rid of their homes, cars, furniture etc... Looks like they will have to absorb all those losses n go empty handed... scary to start families back again from square one, with no job, no savings, n mouths to feed...it will be a huge setback for sure... buttttttt...stay strong n be confident...u loose some...u gain some...thats the reality...
