Yes, but akkada Tuesday already $5 to $6 tickets usually. So the disbursement was $4 to theatres. Here the difference is coming to $26 per ticket. The only way to know is if an exhibitor shows proof of getting paid either by Fandango or T-mobile with a check in their hand. No way Fandango will re-imburse. Theatre will send them a invoice and they will see the $28 ticket and say they will honor only the max price of the ticket. Theatre will then go to exhibitor and say they have to deal with it. I am 100% sure about this because there have been similar cases. For all Fandango cares, they might think the exhibitors purposely priced the ticket $28 to steal money from them on first look. | ||

Idhoka peddha fake news. Definitely T-mobile WILL NOT pay more than $10. They probably already have a contract. They don't know Telugu movies get aired for $28-$30 premieres. If T-mobile goes to court - it will win the case because of "reasonable" clause. Which is where T-mobile can claim they did not account for the rare chance of a regional language movie costing 6x more than regular tickets manipulating the algorithm. Even on Tuesday offers - 3D movies are NOT $2. There is extra surcharge for 3D movies. It was a mistake on the side of Fandango - one they will never repeat again. But I highly doubt T-mobile will pay $700k out of pocket - easier to just go to court and spend $100k and win the case. They probably have legal fees allocation - if it comes to it. Aina, our exhibitors and distributors are not Allu Aravind kind of cunning fellows in US. They will fold as soon as T-mobile says they will not pay - no one wants to mess with big corporations especially when their status is still no green card or citizenship.
