Movie is decent one to watch. Biggest drawback was Balayya as the young NTR. Even if Balayya played it in his early 20s, he would fall way short infront of his dad. NTR's aura is extraordinary. Malla second half lo aged look ki baaga set ayyindi... Movie lo Balayya and Vidya Balan scenes are good. I also enjoyed Bala and Sumanth scenes showing a strong chemistry b/w the legends. I also liked the scene where CBN played by Rana introduces YSR to NTR... NTR had a cake walk in cinema field. It was only in politics where drama began. So first half lo aa drama/emotion miss avvadam natural... | ||

Liked the movie - yeah there was not much emotional connect because he is never shown as an underdog ... but I think that is factually correct .. Yeah Krish could have played to the galleries by showing him suffer hunger pangs or wallow in self pity ... but was that his personality ? Ika RED CARPET untadi by default! His roles of KRISHNA, RAMA, LORD VENKATESWARA all helped a lot with public going crazy later cemented by SRI RAMA in LAVA KUSA!! Finished the movie with 1 hour break in between. Nice movie. Other than those scenes comparing him to God, everything else was decent even though it might looks like exaggeration, it is cinematic version, so understandable. Regarding Redcarpet to him, we have to remember that telugu movie was still in nascent stages and NTR was FIRST mass hero that industry saw and few producers and directors were excited about the possibility of big celebrity in him, so there were not that many struggles for him to get foothold in the industry. And he was also not from a poor family (if not very RICH family), so he didn't need to bend in front of everyone for roles/chances. Where as Krishan & Shoban struggled a lot before they got their break. | ||

Daanilo comedy emi ledhu....Already NTR had met LV Prasad earlier and was selected as a Hero. His portfolio pictures were shown to Subba Rao who was very impressed. And after seeing him in person and hearing his voice, he decided NTR was his Hero even without a screentest. Same with HM Reddy who was mightily impressed with his looks and punctuality. Infact Subba Rao was so fond of his find that he introduced NTR to other producers and directors as the next superstar. Akkada 60 yr old Bala trying to be a 25 yr NTR ni Choosi what's the fuss anukuntunnaremo....NTR was very handsome, had a good personality and a rich baritone voice, all of which were important to be a Hero. None which are obvious when an old Bala portrays them. Everything they showed was true. Abaddhalu choopinchalsina avasaram emi ledhu.
