Sein and Biryani You seem to think competitive sports are easy, anytime you have to compete at a national level in anything requires LOT of hardwork. Whether it s swimming or spelling bees, requires these kids to make numerous sacrifices, they spend so much time. I am nt sure of your sample size, but mst parents in US encourage their kids in sports r physical activities, however it is absolutely impossible to compete against Americans for obvious genetic reasons we have no control on. So, our kids end up doing the best in academics which is a natural instinct. Similarly, Americans think they need to increase their kids aptitude in math and science as it doesn't come easy to them. Ee DB lo pratidi criticism, irrespective of what our personal opinion is, appreciate the kiddos hard work, what he did was amazing. Learned from my own experience ... with my 12 yr son. America lo, sports chaala competetive. My son is good in couple of sports. yes good. But, when He plays with american kids (thella and nalla)....my son is NO WHERE. LOL we indians are good at short cuts and easy success. That is why we are good at academics and desi consulting companies. No wonder, India has LOTs of spinners, but no genuine fast bowlers. | ||
