Well ee vishayam gurinch 1 year back when cinema was not announced appudu disco jarigindi... nenu savitri is "over rated" actress ante just like my many thoughts andaru karisesaaru.. in an era where every actress is very accomplished whether it is expressions wise histrionics wise diction wise its hard to say which actress acted well.. its just the roles they got.. anthe if not savitri inko heroine anthe baaga chesedi in the roles she is famous for.. she cant act show aggression in her eyes.. laalitham and prema only .. neither she can sing effectively which was qualification then ... now apart from famous movies most of the movies she acted was second fiddle to hero.. ( the opinion is based on 40 odd movies ) personally I am fan of Bhanumathi( she did a more variety roles than savitri and u know she is aggresive in those days which I like ) and S.varalakshmi in that eraa..(eevida meeda thread vesaa kudaa)) ( nothing to do with caste kinda asale wiring antu edo annaru db lo ido godava naa laanti vaallaki.. s varalakshmi kaapulu ) mahanatudu is also tough...NTR and ANR black and white era lo over action cheyyaledu naaku telisi... given her sad ending, there's always masala about her life. so you will see more material on her which could sound like hype. that doesn't take away from her achievements. Bhanumathi was multi-faceted and headstrong - didn't sit well with a lot of people. not enough hype. but that also doesn't take away from her own achievements.
