random things happen, there are crazy people out there
Sometimes current events bring more craziness..be aware, be respectful
I will tell this example - I went to a bar to pick up an order of buffalo wings on super bowl evening
While waiting ordered for a beer at the bar.. a in 50s white couple were sitting next to the bar stool I was about to occupy.. when I was about to sit - the USA national anthem started so I continued to stand and then sat after the anthem is done..
The white couple did not stand but the lady told me she was glad to see me standing to us national anthem.. I was offended on two counts one you did not stand, but profiled me as an outsider.. could have said something harsh or atleast a zinger.. better sense prevailed and I smiled and sat and ignored them
I had strange questions asked of me in pubs usually red neck guys or loudmouths.. even before trumpster came.. his win is amplifying things a bit |
