In a family of 4, we used 2 passes for one ride and two passes for another. At the ride entrance asked for Parent exchange. Worked for most of the rides. Flip side is that all of us couldn't go at the same time. Worked for us as younger one is not eligible for all rides anyway. One kid had double fun though. Got to Ride along with each of us. | ||

This is my suggestion based on what worked for me. I checked frontier website, nowhere it says you have to check in 1 hour prior to departure. 1. you have to see if the frontier airlines specifically mentioned 1 hour cutoff. 2. If not, you have leverage, try calling frontier customer service. Dont yell but calmly explain how you wish to be early at check in but due to thanksgiving traffic, you were late etc and see if they offer the ticket money back ----- You fail to check-in for your flight by the check-in cutoff. The check-in cutoff is 45 minutes prior to departure for domestic flights and 60 minutes prior to departure for international flights. --- I had similar situation happened with jetblue. They have different cutoffs for specific airports, however on the ticket confirmation they provided they did not mention that. I had to pay 150$ extra per ticket because I did not make in 45 mins checkin time (specific to some airports), however after trip is completed, I called them argued how would I know this specific checkin time unless they print on ticket and had them return the extra fees and they even gave me 50$ extra credit for future travel. | ||

Gave up after applying 'saam, daana, bedha, dandopayams" - read as requested, escalated to manager etc They offered no charge flight change for next day afternoon but we had to come back on sunday night.. didn't want to go through the hassle of checking into another hotel with 2 kids and cancelling monday work / meetings etc United had another flight leaving in an hour and it cost $450 per person.. total $1800 Never going to forget the most expensive Idly Sambar experience edo ad type lo: 2 plate idly-sambar $1800 1 hour of stress and BP but smile on kids face when he saw the food he asked for - priceless. Reached Dakshin around 7.10 PM due to traffic.. Airport is only 20 mins away and we have 50 mins for check-in... but had to return the car at the rental so that adds up another 20-30 mins.. If we didn't have the check-in bags then we can go by 8.30 and still make it but to check the bags we need to be there at least 1 hour before. So asked the Dakshin guy to pack the Idly Sambar in to go box since we didn't have time to sit down and eat at the restaurant Finished feeding kids while driving to airport. Left the restaurant around 7.20 pm and reached car rental by 7.50 PM There was a big line for the return and shuttle.. there is no way we can make it for 8 PM check in if go through the line.. Even though it was a long shot.. wanted to give it a try.. asked a guy at the return center.. "You know something.. At Philly airport, one of the car rental return and parking company offer white glove service.. you guys should start that here given the rush you get at this airport" He asked "what is white glove service?" "When someone comes to return the car or park the car.. they take the customers to airport directly to save the time.. and they charge small premium" "Who would pay for that? i don't think it will fly" "No, you will be surprised.. Sunday morning 11 AM Kids playing in the pool at the hotel.. me running after them and asking them to get back to room as we had to vacate the hotel by 12 PM.. Then decided to let them play little longer as we will be back in Jersey and no more playing in pool in nice weather until next summer.. called hotel front desk to request for late check out.. "Can we check out little late around 3 PM if possible?" "Unfortunately, we can't extend till 3 but i can give until 1 PM after that there will be additional charge" "How much would you charge for 3 PM checkout?" "I can give free check out until 1 PM, $50 for 2 PM and $100 for 3 PM.. after 4 PM it will one extra night" "ok 2 PM works. thank you !" _____________________________________ Time - 3 PM Checked out of hotel and started driving towards Daytona beach as we still have few hours to kill before we need to be at the airport Somewhere i read that you can drive IN the beach in couple of areas in Daytona beach so thought it would be good experience but when we stopped at gas station someone there suggested to check the timing because they don't let you drive after 5 or 6 PM. So called in and they confirmed that drive in beach closes at 5 PM.. So now thinking what else to do.. Flight leaves at 9 PM so need to be at the airport by 8 PM... so have 5 hours to kill.. then i saw the hoarding on the road side that said "iFly Orlando".. indoor sky diving center.. you can experience zero gravity flying blah blah checked the direction.. it was less than 30 mins away.. decided to give it a try Don't say you don't have enough time.
