I dont expect you to see every other speech that PK does, all election campaign speeches, the format is like this 30 mins speech avg 10 mins manifesto 10 mins local issues and local MLAs 10 mins covering tdp, ycp, trs, bjp every time PK have a break and do the meeting it is always highlighted. Andulo baaga aggressive gaa maatladedi will be highlighted. And PK talks aggressive on only those things he is talking for first time. Last year avirbhava sabha appudu TDP bashing and this year YCP and YCP-TRS nexus. Subsequent meetings only those aspects will be highlighted. Not that I know him personally.... When I saw his posters of "Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi" in Hyd in 1996 reading "who is this boy...".. did not pay much attention but thinking this guy looks like Jagapathi Babu... did not even know that he was brother of the unparalleled star Chiranjeevi. Watched his movie in Shanti theatre 2nd show and walked down all the way to Osmania campus ( I am in mid 40s now  ..) .. I did not like that movie not impressed by him either ...no negative impact of him though... then.. watched his movie of Suswagatham again 2nd show in Ganga theatre in 1997 and walked down to my friend's room in Vivekandanagar along with my friends....impressed by his action in the climax of the movie when his father(Raghuvaran) died.. and told my friends about his action.... then came Toliprema.. watched in Sudarshan 35mm ... became his fan from then on wards... next Tammudu Sandhya70mm in 1999...became kind of his cult fan... happened to watch some of his interviews .. particularly remembered or moved or empathised with him when once he kind of saying in the lines that he had been so much frustrated with the life and he could have become anti social with pent up emotions etc etc... notices his shyness/introvertedness when Chiru had to wish PK's fans as well along with PK as his was too shy to face camera... then.. gone through his Badri.Khushi...Johnny and all his movies... liked him in all even though i did not like some movies... remember how OT et al used to mock n scoff PK in his movies like Gudumbashankar in IBDB( I was not active much in IBDB in it's initial days though)... I remained PK's fan all along... in 2014 when he announced his party and with the inaugural speech... I thought he was really up to something different and try to change the politics... was always impressed by his portrayed conviction and commitment towards society... thought that he really wanted to support the less corrupt( per him and per me then too), TDP though he was not yet ready to contest on his own... then on wards ... did not like his inaction on his politics or movies... 4 years he was almost silent did not question the govt on anything as he promised... confusion started about him.. thought how can s person talk so strongly and with utmost apparent conviction about anything while he cannot really act on it and try to uphold his own argument and keep his promise... seeing him in 2019.. aside from the fact that without proper preparation for the elections.... not taking on the real issues of other political parties being corrupt and playing vote bank politics.. he himself playing vote bank politics and supporting corrupt parties indirectly is kind of shocking... PK, you may have some weaknesses as everyone else would have and those can be understood n ignored as they are not harmful to the larger good, I think you do not have to succumb to anyone owning to them.. fight the corrupt and be yourself... take on TDP and YCP and be an alternative in AP.. if not now ..you will succeed later.. |
