Saw the press conference. IAF did a good job clearly giving details of the attempts of Pak Jets' infiltration and our successful retaliation hereby exposing Pak's lies about not using F-16.. However, it was also disappointing to see no evidence submitted on the effectiveness of our airstrikes in Balakot where we could expose Pak clearly on their harbouring of Tellalists. Even as we speak, Pak is totally denying any loss of life around Balakot whereas we are mentioning a wipeout of 300 Tellalists. International community would want proof of the wipeout or else it would remain a hogwash. While our Defence's actions and reactions are appreciable, there are still many question marks over the loopholes in our intellegence, effectiveness of our surgical strikes and our diplomatic positioning and handling of media. Let there be rational debates and constructive criticism than give in to unwanted jingoism and branding every question as anti national. My biggest grouse....For all our celebrations, we still await evidence that we actually wiped out 300 Tellalists. | ||

Just watched I expected they would release some solid evidence But utter disappointment,they evaded all question regarding operation on JeM camp When asked for proofs or how many have died the air Marshall said,"we have striked the intended targets" They were trying to prove that Pak used F-16 in yesterday's operation ..not provided any proof if it has been shot down...they just said it went down in PoK Comedy is,to prove that F-16 was used,they exhibited few pieces of Air-to -Air (ARMAS) missile shells ,which can be used only with F-16 (Pak can easily say that any one can buy them from scrap yards in Afghanistan or Syria) India should have just shut up about striking JeM camps,if they can't back up and counter with solid evidence |
