normally I try to invest in well capitalised dividend paying companies, so not the right person.
depends on how long oil is going to stay in that range. every company in oil sands area is correlated to crude prices. above 80 they make excellent margins. CVE is one of the better ones, as they have other conventional oil plays along with oil sands production. Same with IMO and SU (after Petro Canada's merger) | ||

Fracking: new drilling technology facilitating crude production in areas not viable before. needs water, chemicals and facing some issues with ground water contamination. even though it is not proven, left wing green idiots are claiming that fracking can create earthquakes. Bakken oil fields: light crude, valuable. we are unable to keep up with the pace in terms of building the infrastructure. good play and will reach 1 million barrels production in next 5 years or so. one bright spot in US economy | ||

I am not in IT, don't know much about the sector. but now a days I see lot of telugu people in the city, recently Infosys opened a shop for CP rail. also IBM has lot employees here. There are lot of desis, at least 500 telugus among them. there are more than 20 desi restaurants, which may give you the indication. This city and province (Alberta) hugely depends on Oil & Gas sector. with the current crude prices and based on the forecast, we don't have to worry about job security for this and next generation. | ||

complete wrong info. we lived close to Niagara falls for the first 7 years. cold vishayam lo Calgary much better than east coast.
