my frustration is basically, indians are short sighted than long sighted and even petty. when you want to solve problems at group level you need a coherent group. you cannot solve retirement problem alone, because being alone is the problem to solve. but to get a bunch of indians to do anything together is next to impossible.

most of us did better than our parents and make sure your kids have all the opportunities without any limitations. show them the world, go out and enjoy, visit every year at least one country/place that you have never been before. for me sports is like meditation, try what ever makes you happy. Spring break vasthandi kada, get out and enjoy the out door life. we are planning to go snow boarding or skiing for a week |

bottom line is this:
Indians in America want American life in India, without having to pay anything. It's not going to happen. Even simple things that you take for granted like clean water, electricity, and smooth traffic are impossible in india.
the way to work around this is to join a few hands and build a self-contained retirement community in india. but that will be very expensive. and that's not going to happen. all indians in usa, without exception, are stingy, suspicious, miserly, more worried about other guy making 5c even if you are making 50c. you want all 55c for yourself only.

akkada em undhi, you will go under a lower rung into IT companies,
Desam lo Middle Management just hardly exists, and lower rungs exists in lakhs number.
if you exert pressure, they will quit. chaltha hai attitude undhi as of now in lower IT level..
nuvvu endhi chesedhi akkada poyyi, 50 years ki retirements start authunnai now, as no companii wants to pay you lakhs and lakhs when so much of talent is available in youth 30-50 age sector.
so if u live until 80, then 30 years u have to live on your earnings which is absurd.
so dont even think of going, if you have chance. if ur forced to go out, its a different story..
just keep out all money in backpocket, desam lo sanduki gondhuki unnaru, LAKHS incomes tho (even if its illegal or lanchala or whatever)
