You misunderstood my post bro. I am not talking about Amaravathi's development over here. Its not possible for CBN, Modi or anyone other leader to turn Amaravathi to Hyderabad in just 5 years time. When CBN became CM in 1995, Hyderabad already had existing infrastructure in place to support development of a new industry (IT) and CBN did one hell of a job. It will take decades before any noticeable development in Amaravathi. I am talking about how the current personality of CBN who, hankering for power is making blunders. While this is an easy statement to make....We also need to remember that Present AP itself is a poor reflection of its own self from the times when it had Hyd. Added to this, the vote bank compulsions of Welfare Freebies Vis a Vis Development has lead us to the current Ver 3.0 of CBN. Given the peculiar situation our state was in 2014, another CM too could have done hardly anything better with non existing infra or a metro standard city. Infact I would say pooling 30k acres is the biggest achievement....Usually a similar exercise would take a decade even. I firmly believe for a new state, any party which forms the Govt. for the first time needs to be given 2 terms in a row atleast. Would hav said he same had even Jagan been the first Term CM. 5 years is hardly sufficient to create anything from a literal Greenfield. Give them atleast 10 years to pool up resources, funds, create a basic infra and make it acceptable atleast for investments. Any Govt. Or any CM would need time to show real results. Babu was lucky to have been there in power from 1995-2004 where he could showcase some development. Let's see if he gets a mandate to build on whatever Platform he was able to create. Btw....HBD Babu....One of the most workholic CMs in India. | ||

Babulu, Every politician has peaks & lows. CBN was at his peak from 1995-2004. Progressive, development oriented and against giving freebies. After that every politician in our own state & neighboring states started giving freebies to public. There is no other option for CBN but to offer freebies as well. Our voters do not understand that freebies in the name of welfare is coming from their own taxes, creating a huge dent on the exchequer. Yes he does have many flaws both as a person & CM. The current CBN is a very poor reflection of his own self from 1995-2004 BUT still he is a freaking legend. | ||
