NTR biopic first part who was released last week and got good reviews and appreciation. However the movie is getting very poor collections surprising trade pundits. There has been a debate among sleep circles about the reasons for such poor performance despite good reviews. Some opine that, in recent times the caste factor and political factors are affecting movies as well. The same people point that, debacle of Telugu Desam Party in Telangana elections, Balakrishnaâs funny speeches during the election that became fodder for trollers, anti-wave on TDP in Andhra â all these factors might be the reasons for such poor performance. Obviously, this is wrong and any great leaderâs life would be vast with more dimensions. It is the duty of writers and director to make a biopic crisp and yet detailed enough to be called as comprehensive. â Young NTR role: Another reason is that, Balakrishna playing the young NTR did not go well with audience. Even though Balakrishna suited in the second half of the NTR, the directors decision of having Balakrishna play the young NTR proved costly. If the director had found a suitable actor to play the âyoung NTRâ, the results could have been definitely different.
