Sanjay manjrekar was a great test batsman. ODI kosam style maarchukuni motham career denkabettukunnadu. As per Laxman on cricinfo, Rahul was amazing test batsman but lost it because he has changed game since playing T20. You do realize the only bowler that Dhoni didn't have is Bhumrah. All our teams in the past were defensive in nature with occasional brilliance from accidental all-rounders (Read, Irfan Pathan, Yuvraj Singh etc). 6 Batsmen, 1 keeper, 4 bowlers is the standard strategy. But Kohli is pushing boundaries with different strategies. Those strategies aren't always working, is because of either inexperience or bad luck. But you don't want your Best batsman and most successful captain who is at the peak of his powers to have a confidence crisis by removing him. Kohli being aggressive on field is no issue....Aussies have been doing tht for ages. It is his Team selections that are baffling. But then again, you can't blame a guy who gives 200% on the field but his teammates come up short whoever he selects. I for one feel these legends also shud time their comments well.
