i am not sure when you can unlock these phones annai...one of my freind got this phone under loyalty program and didnt even activate it..got it unlcoked thorugh ebay and sent it to india...he said att sent a fraud alert email as he never activated it and asked him to activate otherwise will waive off discounted price... e fraud email alert..endo gola sarigga artham kaledu...i can find out more info if you want...but 1st hand info.. so you better activate it first..use it for few days and then go back to your old phone and update your device in att wesbite accordingly... | ||

It doesn't increase on the plan I have. Any plan but unlimited it does. There is an exhaustive thread on the subject at Slick Deals I have been reading for a couple weeks. Some that don't have unlimited plans have been told by the Loyalty Department that their line charges won't increase but it ALWAYS does. Useful Comment from the link I upgraded both our phones to the iPhone XR at the end of October. I did the 2 year contract for $450 off the price for each phone. The phones came to about $750 for both after the discount and taxes. According to the loyalty department (who I did the upgrade with) the taxes are determined by state and in Florida I only had to pay the taxes on the discounted amount not the retail price. I was told by the loyalty department that we would get free cases, free priority shipping, and the upgrade fees would be waived. Purchased the phones up front and got them a few days later. We both love the XR. Screen is great regardless what others have said. I upgraded from and iPhone 7 plus and my wife upgraded from an iPhone 6 plus. I wanted to wait until I received a bill before reporting my experience and today I got the first bill. As stated by others, my bill did not go up. I have the unlimited plus and more plan and the access per device fees are unchanged. However I did have one $45 upgrade fee on the bill. So this morning I initiated a chat. Told them the fees were supposed to be waived and evidently one was but the other one wasn't. Told the chat agent that I also had a chat transcript proving I was told the upgrade fees would be waived. I gave the chat agent the transcript ID and they reviewed it. Chat agent says they agree they said that but the best they could do was offer a $30 credit. Told the chat agent nevermind because that isn't acceptable to me because it's not what I was told. I only want what I was promised and nothing more but also nothing less. The chat agent did the old I will talk to manager Shazam and voila a $48.15 credit was applied to the bill while chatting. Not sure why it was $48.15 and not $45 but I am totally satisfied with the upgrade and the bill. The phones are great as well. beedi hatavoo desh batchavoooooo | ||
