First thing ,the routes/service are not exclusive. Amazon can engage multiple delivery channels in the area franchised to you. They do not guarantee any min business. Amazon ships prime orders for free and regular orders for very low shipping ($5.99) .The margins are very thin to pass to last mile delivery Amazon has plans to take over local courier/logistic companies and start their own pan-US delivery system (like Fedex).So don't know if the will continue third party last mile delivery in future With think margins,employing people,maintaining and leasing of vehicles,office space,maintenance is not easy task since all routes are not profitable | ||
