to avoid caste discrimination brahmanaidu used to organise chaapakoodu. all castes kalisi koochoni bhojanam cheyadam to propose social unity and prosperity. pangyam is like religion of army men. in the same way army lo ki kooda anni jaathula nundi sainikula ni join cheskunevallu. SCs were called gosangis. vaallandarikeee(army lo heads) naidu title icharu. as they are from different castes naidu title dispersed to all castes. pedha kamma chinna kamma division ilane vachindil. pedha kammas were in that army, chinna kammas were fellow people of kingdom. all castes lo ila divisions untayi. anduke maa subcaste pedhadhi valla subcaste chinnadhi antaru. naidu title is in too many castes velama kamma reddy kapu yadav boya gavara SCs infact you can find same surname in different castes for example  I've found some ) boyina settibalija(EG) kamma(ongole) yadav(krishna) kamineni devineni muddineni kammineni(all surnames in different castes) kamma(guntur) kapu(guntur) reddy(seema) yadav(seema) of course there are numerous examples. these are just for example same system was continued during kakatiyas. yugandharudu was a chief military officer in kakatiya army was an SC by birth. kannamaneedu(naidu) , son of brahmanaidu was an SC by birth but adopted by brahmanaidu. initially Bs changed their titles from vajjha, mantri, amatya and got fancy titles raya, rao and panth (later added 'lu' as a respect) from karnataka and maharshtra later when our land was invaded by karnataka kings in seema areas and maharashtra kings in telangana, fancy title rayalu , rao came to the telugu land. local armies lo ee titles icharu(initially velamas got these titles) later distribution of powers lo different castes add chesaru. hyderabad lo raos ante still velamas ne choopistaru. kings whenever they go for kavigoshtis in those kingdoms. | ||

kannamaneedu , son of brahmanaidu was an SC by birth but adopted by brahmanaidu. balachandrudu was original one. katama raju had an SC brother adopted by his reddy mother. native telugaites were socially forward in thinking always. | ||

many of todays castes existed before 1200AD. Read two books 1.palnati veera charitra 2. katamaraju charitra brahmanaidu and katamaraju, both were revered by srinatha kavi for their heroic and fierceful courage and administering social relations in their respective kingdoms. although brahmanaidu was not king, the kings of palanadu were like chandragupta in mudrarakshasam. hold was in brahmanaidu and nagamma hands palanati rajyamlo rendu concepts 1. chaapakoodu - (this ritual still continues in karyamapudi alias karempudi in guntur) 2. pangyam- this was the one which was root cause for the titles like rao, naidu, panthulu etc existing in different castes. this was the one which made Bs to shed their titles like vajjha, mantri, amatya and put Rao in their title same as above velamas shed their original naidu title and became raos. kamma caste was there before brahmanaidu regime. the satisahagamanam ritual of katamarajus mother indicates the existence of many castes before 1200 AD | ||

True, many bees were slaughtered in 1565 after battle of tallikota along with velama and kammas....bees especially vaishnavites were slaughtered in day light along with kammas and velama who were chief warriors of Aliya Rama Raya... lol... almost all cassetes we hear today existed prior to 1200 AM. you dont have to look alot ... just read about palanati Yudham which happend right before 1200. ... you will encounter many "known" cassetes 1) Alugu Raju/AnuguRaju - Raju caste - kshatriya - although a migrant to andhra region, he is married into a "Raju" family. 2) Brahmanaidu - velama 3) Dodda Nayudu(Brother of brahmanaidu) - Velama 4) kannama nayudu - adopted son of brahmanaidu - mala 5) Peddana raju - son of dodda nayudu - adopted son of Alugu raju - born velama, brought up as "raju" but eventually gets in trouble because of caste. he gets married into Raju family, but later gets revelaed that he is velama and wages wars with many raju families who were pissed off with his original caste. 6) Nagamma Reddy - antagonist or anti-brahmanaidu lady - who triggers the war - Reddy - also treated equals to Raju caste 7) battle at Mandadi - where brahmanaidu was living in exile near devarakonda - Nagamma sends "Boya" warriors in the actual battle, you can find more prominent castes.. but mostly kshatriya castes... Pericchedi. pusapati rajus who built vijayawada and so on... havent thought about this in long time. | ||
