One question I don't understand is, while trade deficit numbers they are showing are cause for concern, what about multi-national companies like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, McD, GM doing business in other countries, say in India. Because these are behemoth corporations, they kill the local businesses and take market share. Because of this, all the local businesses will disappear and only big corporations prevail. How does the above's role in deficit that US claiming. When goods are imported it will be counted towards deficit, but the profits ultimately role into US corporations. Who is benefiting here, definitely not Indian companies. Anyway, I don't fully understand, but looking at deficits only doesn't give the whole picture. | ||

HE has nothing to lose but US is losing it's charm and will effect economy because of this for example soy beans farmers are so angry now as they will lose lot of money and it will effect how they vote and if you see recent elections it seems their base is not as motivated as they were in 2016 and i don't think they will win mid term thanks to child seperation, trad war etc | ||

In that case - US should make their policy clear...and stop playing politics about China - making them look like baddies. If they are baddies - show some action. If not, do not portray them that way. All "big" politicians of US always use China as a punching bag - and then do nothing even during 8 years of presidency .... So - either educate the people...or go full throttle.
