i am ok with his opinion,and i am not arguing whether he is sadhguru or not, or if he supposed to be called on, or whether he should allow others to say it or not.. all i am saying is i dont care what he is. all i care about is his idea, even he is a crook . tommorrow if it ok comes out that he is a murderer, he will be a murderer who was called sadhguru, and allowed to call sadhguru, but what his idea is, that doesnt change. i am not asking to follow him, i merely asking him try to understand his ideas. the reason i said i dont know the value of the title, is that i cannot judge whether he is right or wrong. i cannot judge a doctor, but i trust the institutions that confer the degrees. konni videos chusa, bagunnai anipichindi..primarily because his videos appealed to my common sense...in one of the videos he cited an increase in neurological processing with yoga practice..i did some fact checking and realized he wasn't bluffing.....sare inner engineering chicago ki ochindi early this year, and i wanted to give it a shot and enter the boot camp with an open mindset..At the end of the day, if Inner Engineering resulted in an increased focus - i am sold...that was my mindset first day - ohook anipichindi...but was impressed by the structure of their course..2nd day was good - i loved their way of teaching yoga with the science behind it..i thought they knew what they were doing...day # 3 was great - i could clearly feel the difference in energy levels when i went to bed that night....i actually couldn't sleep well but at the same time i wasn't tired..it's difficult to explain how i felt but it felt great...they said before leaving day # 3 that day # 4 is gonna be life-changing etc etc.....eella marketing eellade anukunna.. day # 4 which is the final day......i loved everything about this day..last lo sambhavi mudra mundu announce chesaru "ee kriya tarvata, some of u may cry...some of u may become emotional etc etc"..... appudu kuda eskunna.. but aa last kriya ayinaka, unbelievable feeling!! it was the most peaceful that i've ever been in my entire life....tears were rolling down my cheeks but i wasn't sad at all..bahu embarrassing ga anipichindi and i was conscious if my relative (i went with her) saw me crying....chinnaga thana vaipu chuste, she's also crying like crazy...it's really hard to explain but i did not want to come out of that state...its as if someone reached into the core of my being and introduced a new state of being..alage edustu kurchunna...and it was followed by dancing etc.. it was a 1 hr drive home for me and i cried all the way home....appati varaku 'ananda bashpalu' overaction ki inko name anukune vanni but i experienced it for the first time in my life.. Then I realized that it was something.....it could be a mental trick (I don't know how) but there's definitely some science to it and I could feel the difference...so i committed to continue for 40 days...and i never missed a session for the next forty days.. results showed at two levels...first, i did not change anything else in my lifestyle..i didn't quit drinking or meat.....all i did was practice this 2 times a day for 40 days....i lost 15 pounds in 40 days..i could feel the difference in energy levels - specially immediately after those practice sessions...i never felt the need for coffee (which i didn't consume)..i felt light and great in my core (stomach).....and also i had some symptoms with backpain that totally disasppeared.. so adi na personal experience......do I believe everything sadhguru says? No......do I believe he believes what he says? Absolutely...do I believe his yoga practices work - i swear...i am a live example... rest mi batting on whether he should be called sadhguru or radhika or jayamalini | ||

I attended Inner Engineering program early this year. Here's my experience with Sadhguru and Isha foundation - I wanna be a bit detailed because it may help others. Basically a lot of you know me - I am an atheist, I don't believe there's a magical force that is guiding life on earth. So I am extremely skeptical of 'mystics' or 'god-men'. Idi ila unchite, my mom and my wife both are yoga junkies. My mom swears about out of body experiences when performing certain kriyas - chadastam anukuni light tiskunevanni. A couple of my friends are SS Ravi Shankar cult candidates - who wanted to get me into 'Art of Living'. But that cult was repulsive and the guy wasn't impressive - no clarity of thought...he looks nervous and awkward..so that attempt died right there. Enter oru jilani at work.....he used to drink like a fish..oka 2 years vere chota project kosam elli malli return ochadu...and he was a changed man..no drinking (max 1 beer after repeated requests), no meat..endi ra katha ante sadhguru gurinchi cheppad..he shared a few videos on facebook - I was floored by Sadhguru's clarity of thought..elanti question aina, entertaining ga keka cheppadu anipichindi | ||

Like i have mentioned early - i do not know the value of title Sadhguru. I know its too much to ask of anyone to prove why he is not a sadhguru, and i agree there is no way to really know if he is "realized" one. All i am trying to say in this thread is - does it really matter what he is? He is proposing ideas - listen to them, lead your life. some you may apply if you feel they are valid for you, some you may ignore like an unsolicited advice. I am also against the idea, that if a person is really a Sadhguru, accepting anything that is taught by him. We very well know the major conflicts that are happening in this world today are because as such faith in scriptures written by enlightened ones. | ||

A Doctor is a professional degree, conferred by institutions. A person who wants to be "known" as a doctor, has to get through the process of certification. Now, if there is a person who has not been certified as a Doctor, and was able to cure a particular ailment, and who ever got cured calls him a doctor, he is a doctor to that person. That person very well might call himself a doctor, but is not a certified doctor. The rules of the institution change, so a doctor is someone who gets certified based on rules at a point in time. When it comes to Sadhguru, is there an institution that validates such titles? Even if there is a such a situation exists, this field is such that someone else can establish their own institution, their own rules - and confer their own titles. newer cults, newer sects, newer religions form all the time on this basis. what anyone can do is debate the ideology of the individual - this particular individual is on a public forum - if folks who are more "qualified" can engage with him and make things better for everyone. | ||

I dont think we can apply that logic in this context bhayya. Medicine is pure science (you have black/white situations: i.e.: your medicine can have only 2 options: it works or it doesnt work; and there is a certain scientific theory behind it) where as when it comes to spirituality, there is no proper science. We can never have a proper proof for spiritual texts. It has to be experienced by the individual. Some choose to experience it through rituals, others through meditation, some might go for art of living classes, and some try to find a balance in this modern life where things are chaotic and yet they seeking calmness. If jaggi vasudev's preachings are helping a few individuals find their inner peace, I dont see a reason why he cant be called whatever they want to call.. Bottom line: Spirituality is different from Science; so we cannot try to fit it in one size or shape or form and restrict it. As we all evolve and lead our lives, we will find different coping mechanisms and whatever makes sense will prevail; while the rest will fall behind | ||

I give a small medicine and cure a simple illness, will I be a doctor? Pilichevadiki telvadu, the person thinks I cured his so he thinks I am for sure a doctor. But I know that I am not doctor right,, if I tell the person that I am not Doctor, I will loose his respect and his view of me as a Doctor which I feel awesome Now I make thru this person 100's of people call me doctor, but still I never become Doctor no matter how many millions call me a doctor.. As long as I am enjoying and people are there to call me as doctor and there is no harm done, like killing any one? I want to keep people calling me a doctor. Is what I think and people think. But actually I am limited to curing simple illness and they are satisfied with simple treatment. However when reality comes, I will fall flat..
