Florida and in other national polls. It's a propaganda message to boost morale. Even 500k uptick in independents did not come in 1 year. It trickled from 2012 year 100k. So it's possible that dems lost some black vote and gained some Latino vote keeping the net sAme.

I believe the opinion polls ALWAYS show very TIGHT elections in the end. It is how media project to keep the interest. Having said that, this election has been unique in many ways and we cann't compare history with this (even though this is going to be part of the history soon). your numbers look reasonable . Strictly looking at the registered voters that makes sense..but also I think you are completely ignoring the Latino voter block. I don't know how impactful that will be. But 14% of total early vote is significant. 32k lead may not be looking at this factor It is rational to assume new lationos registered as democrats. But the overall democrat registration numbers doesn't reflect that. So what percentage of no party affiliation included Latino vote ? Where does the 7-10% lead among independents come from. Dems lead by 32k votes. From yesterday it was 7k. So gained 25k. This is what media reported unprecedented Latino voter upsurge  As expected 5.972 mil people voted. Out of approx 12.5 registered voters. At max 3 - 3.5 mil vote is left. Don't believe media reports that 1 mil latinos registered etc. when compared 2012 and 2016 total voters by party, dems are down by paltry 10k. Only independent are up by 500,000. Trump is doing 7-10 point lead with independents. Of the early voters,1.165 mil independents voted. Even if we give 10 pt edge in these voters to clinton, that's is 116 +32 = 148k only. In the past elections, reps won the Election Day ballots by 7-10'pojnts. Even if trump gets 5 points it is 150 and he wins.
