Have Faith in God, You have a wife and kid to support, Don't go braking their hearts, stay strong... i know a person lives in Chennai,a 65 year old who fought bowel cancer from stage 3 and is healthy now... Bowel cancer is on of the few which has a higher %'s of getting completely cured......

This is a preliminary screening test. If your kid fails this, consulting a doctor is a good idea. 3 months ki diagnosis kastam...but now a days they are developing eye tracking technology to notice eye contact patterns in very young kids...this is showing promise but inkaa vaadukaloki raaledu.

Wow, overwhelming stuff...
Lenin - nothing to add to what others already said...try to find support groups...talk to people who are in the same situation...look for online forums...try to educate yourself about this condition as much as you can...this will reduce unnecessary fears...show some interest in spiritual and philosophical stuff...they can give some peace...once you come out of this initial shock, you should be fine...all the best.
Urumi - haven't read the entire thread but have you consulted nutrition specialist for special diet?

Sure. We have our hands full coordinating activities for both kids, nurse schedules, supplies, medications etc....but sure ga we'll make more time and discuss interventions.
Our new ABA therapist (she's going for BCBA) tho baaga gel ayindhi papa...and OT session during weekend is her favorite. she'll drag me from the car to inside the building  |

I don't know. It's way too early anukunta. But 1 year ki maaku developmental evaluation chesaru as they were premature...they suggested early intervention but we thought of giving some time... 6 months down the line, had to go full fledged intervention. |

I wanted to post this to give others in the group hope and motivation that things will definitely change over time..naaku iddaru girls younger one didn't talk and used to show some signs of autism like tip toe, spinning and not talking but singing rhymes.. When she was 19 months old and our pediatrician advised to go for early intervention. From the evaluation and to get therapist it took 2 months. She got 7 hrs of therapies in a week consisting of speech, OT and regular therapis.. Also doctor suggested to get ear test done.. She had fluid and wax in her ears. That was treated and I think that helped her a lot and by her second birthday she could answer for questions like how old are you...from not even able to identify member of family. now she is 3 1/2 and is conversational... She still slow in some areas but when we compare to what was before it's totally different. She doesn't receive any services now but we spend lot of family time with her and it has defiantly helped. |

yes to both, one was in NICU for 3 months..other one was 2 months...the one who stayed for 3 months had other issues later and was in hospital again for 18 months.

The root cause of autism it seems that BCM-7 which is present in A1 type milk which is prevalent in Western countries. Since in India also (indian breads which primarily produce A2 milk are being replaced with A1 type cows because of productivity) A1 gaining popularity, these days we hear many cases there.
Avoid bottle/milk to the kids until 4-5yrs completely (dont say organic is ok, even organic milk contains A1).
idhharu pillalaki breast milk saripoledhu....so both were on formula feed...one is autistic, the other is ok. infact, other one is still on formula through g-tube.

Mee post chusi search chesanu - interesting research though mostly funded by A2 milk company ..However,looks like a2 milk is now available in the US too in some places ...may be worthwhile for parents of infants to look into it...a lot of these kids have lactose intolerance too and the research said most lactose intolerant people can tolerate a2 milk - that may be helpful for Urumi, Jalsa and others
Though by the same token autism rates are climbing in desam too (maybe just more are getting diagnosed )even as development has helped get old diseases eradicated , new ones are being created

Most of the indian breed only produce A2 milk exclusively. But these days to produce more we are (in india) using western breeds which produce either A1+A2 or A1 solely.
In the recent past, I hear many autism cases in india, so one of the reason can be A1 milk and with the lab tests indicating that A1 could cause neurological issues, auto-immune issues, better stay away from A1 milk or use only desi cows/buffalo milk. |

I read somewhere that breast feeding babies will be mostlye safe, what I mean is bottle feeding or giving normal milk is one of the main cause of autism.
The root cause of autism it seems that BCM-7 which is present in A1 type milk which is prevalent in Western countries. Since in India also (indian breads which primarily produce A2 milk are being replaced with A1 type cows because of productivity) A1 gaining popularity, these days we hear many cases there.
Avoid bottle/milk to the kids until 4-5yrs completely (dont say organic is ok, even organic milk contains A1). |

Agriculture is supposed to be a philosophy. As long as farming is seen as a commercial business by farmer/distributer, I personally can't rely on such guys' products. Google about worm 'Eisenia Foetida' (Indian organic farmers use this in vermiculture). vermiculture local soil eating vaana paamu tho cheste all good and happies, that's not the case unfortunately, this eisenia foetida has european origins if i remember correctly.
Also, the certificates for the 'organic farms' can be bought, corrupt.
