Paisa karchu lenappudu emaina cheppochu...but producers pay more to Jr. NTR than AA, that is 'revealed preference' (again economics language lo). I am no fan of Jr NTR and no hater of AA but I think AA doesn't get a bigger remuneration than Jr. NTR. Collections are important and have stakes involved but if you go purely by collections, Bellamkonda Srinivas probably got as much collections in his first movie as Sharwanand, Naga Shourya, and Sandeep Kishan's biggest hits put together. That doesn't mean he is a better actor or have more market. You must factor for the director, budget, heroine etc. In Temper vs SoS, I think SoS has bigger budget, bigger director, and bigger heroine. And some people here selectively treat OT as their guru. When OT says Temper is good, they say "clear positive talk for Temper" but they don't take into account the average reviews/ratings from other popular reviewers. Name any reviewer, Idlebrain Jeevi, Rajeev Masand or whoever and spend a few minutes in going through their old reviews and you will be able to ridicule them with a few examples (Jeevi gave 2.75 to Chandramukhi and 4.5 each to Deviputrudu and Nee Sneham.) Knowing about the result of a movie after it completed it's run is very easy. Predicting it on the day of release is a much harder thing to do. One doesn't have to be 100% accurate to be a good reviewer. If you really want to evaluate OT, pick a few of his reviews randomly and form an impression. Don't specifically look for bad reviews. |
