at least 10 times I crossed in flooded river(water level up to thyes ) during my school days. You need little skill to cross, you need to walk along the direction of flow as well as towards shore(45 degrees slope), you may take time that is safest to reach. it seems they are waiting to other batch guys. | ||

Manam nothing in front of nature especially with Water. My wife took our son and daughter for regular checkup and the doctor gave a lecture to my wife when she told my daughter doesn't know swimming. the main thing is water is everywhere and Swimming should be the top priority. In this case, i know it's difficult to swim. After seeing these videos, it's better to have our kids know swimming. | ||

may be few people hesitated.. kani after reading through survival guides... all experts are saying dont walk in moving water, especially in rocky area... which they did see the video clearly first 10 people get washed away tring to walk through current against the current. they had to hold on to a "floating device" like a bag or a ball or empty water bottles... and tie it to you with a rope... except for realising sooner that they had to get out fast... they didnt stand a chance within 20 secs of water rising. The crucial time they missed is around 30-45 seconds, between the time the flow was normal to increase in flow. From that every one if realized could have made it to shore , had they reacted spontaneously. But they missed that 30-45 sec windows and after the flow was increased they were undecided what to do.
