Sehwag shall remain one of the highest 'Impact' players India and the world has ever seen. In Test matches though, he simply destroyed the sound barrier of batting. Strike Rate of 100+ in his peak years and 80+ throughout his career is simply unmatched as an opener. The next best is in 60's. In One days he was ahead of his time too, his strike rate in One Days is one of the highest ever in his era. Only problem was he hit too many shots in One Days and got out. Had he maintained a lil caution, he wud hav had many batting records. Even though I like Rohit, he isn't a patch on Viru in any format, numbers not withstanding. Simple eg....For Rohit to take the match away, he wud take atleast the 30th over. Sehwag wud do it by the 10th. | ||
