Elections are once in a 5 year event and have a lot at stake. Intha important event lo konni hours of cross checking spare cheyalema? Let EC do 50% VVPAT verification and if no issue comes up people will stop demanding for it... Any automation process during testing there will be lot of manual verification until system stabilizes. EVM malfunctionig is different from EVM tampering. The issue is purposefully making EVM not to work during peak hours in opponents strongholds with the expectation that people will turn back without voting. CBN is trying to highlight this as it will help counter this tactic in next phases. Another thing CBN want is to count 50% VVPAT slips if the votes do not tally in the initial 5 VVPAT counting. I don't see any wrong in this demand. | ||

Dear brothers, Why you guys blindly follow your leader? CBN is making senseless allegations against modi over EVMs malfunctioning. He complains about EVMs and at the same time he says TDP will get 130 seats. If EVMs can help YCP to win the election, don't you think BJP would have used EVMs to win the elections in those 5 states recently? In big states like Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, Congress got slim majority in assembly elections. In the coming general elections also Modi can use EVMs to sweep the elections. Why he is travelling every corner of the country to campaign. I think CBN sensed that he is losing elections badly so he is spitting venom on EC and Modi. This is also a political strategy to build an anti-BJP wave across the country. He will be the most disappointed soul on May 23rd. YCP is going to win more than 100 seats in AP and BJP will come to power in centre with regional parties support. |
