There is a difference in the number of votes polled (from the polling lists publishd by the returning officer) and the votes counted in the EVMs. In some places - high... In some places Low.... Important points... This report was prepared by AICC Incharge for Telangana, R.C.Khuntia and he was talking about Telangana only...not about AP. For AP - there is a separate incharge Oomen Chandy and he is not involved in this report preparation. And reg. vote transfer ( TDP vote to Congress), it happened. You need to analyze the results in Khammam etc and it is evident. In an internal report - the bad performers are named - that is the reason for these reports - to identify the weak areas and improve upon them given the fact that LS elections are 4-5 months away. Some of the losing candidates like KOmatireddi etc may be given MP seats. Another insider, Sanjay Jha also said - This result will not impact the relationship with TDP. This is a strategic relationship that we are building. And if CBN - RG play thier cards correctly, then the issue of 22+ lakh missing votes and the suden jump in voting percentage from 67% to 76%, some polling staff working till 11 PM on polling day- will become a national issue. Will continue in the LokSabha ...unless TDP wants to back out. AICC Incharge of Telangana has given his report to RG, in which he clearly said, TDP vote transfer to Cong happened to the desired extent. There was a negative perception, but that needs to be countered keeping the positives in mind ! And he has pointed out immaturity in a few Congress local leaders. |
