Gap is based on your preference and convenience But I don't like the thought of an only child... They should have atleast one person they can call their own after we, parents leave the world... Have a couple of friends who had problems with their first childbirth and adopted a second kid to ensure the first child was not alone and they are very happy with their decision.

Just because you have asked my view Iam replying I think you have one kid now is he/she might be 2 its the best time to plan and go ahead dont wait too long. We cant generalize everyone's situation is different I mean financial, health, help to take care kids, job etc etc regarding myself it is totally different story (sad) I cant post here. This is exactly what i heard yesterday from a gore mom. Anduke thread vesaa.. She has 4 kids (god bless her) and the gap was 2-2-2-3. So she was saying me and my hubby were busy changing diapers for 10 years with no break  So better to have them with little gap so that you will be done ani cheppindi tana view. Hyder, I think 2-3 yrs is correct gap. As they grow, the elder one should not outgrow the younger one. This is based on my personal exp. Me and my younger bro ( 2 yrs apart) were very close. But it turned out that I went into adolescence early and he was late. So it kind of created a gap between us. Now I am like the big bro and he is like the youngest kid. All my cousins( all males ) are 2 yrs apart, they share a friendly rapport with their siblings. Also as parents it is easier anukuntunna. Why so Serious? | ||

deni advantages daaniki unnai 2 and under gap unte okate flow lo you will be done raising them and they will have a ready made friend at home to keep themselves entertained, dont have to deal with the whole baby stuff again and again cons are with one toddler the effort is x, with 2 toddlers the effort is 4x 3 and above gap unte after a while the elder one will take care of the younger one cons are sibling rivalry with the elder one usually feeling left out, and you have to deal with the whole baby stuff all over again play dates arrange cheyatam and ferrying them to their various activities with different schedules | ||

Oka tricky (debatable) question: What is the idea gap (time) between 2 kids? I know that it is a personal choice. But just would like to hear if there are any specific pros / cons wrt long age gap vs short age gap.
