Nah, its just not me, their education system is really good incl. public schools. Most of our Indians take a PR but not for their sons as they would have to serve in the army for 2 years. However, heard recently they are denying granting PR if the whole family doesnt apply for PR.
Education is pretty good, Singapore math is pretty famous in US too. Their english (call it singlish) accent is wierd. And a really good place to raise families. | ||

That is very much true, my cousin visited me from singapore, and we have been to New York - He was far from impressed with the public transportation in Boston and NYC. Most of my friends took their families straight away as soon as they got a job. Not sure whether they have been applied for a PR still. Yeah - they keep changing their rules. If you want to stay in a developed country but still close to India, nothing to beat SG. | ||

I go to Singapore every month on work. I absolutely love the city, the easiest city to work, settle down and live. Probably one of the safest big cities in the world. Best damn airport in the world. Checkout in 20 mins flat at the worst. Job opportunities in software side are not that many as the city's wage structures are not conducive to typical wage arbitrage kind of business models. It is too high cost a city to run those businesses. Decent roles for finance, sales, BD, product management etc. 3:30 hours lo India ravacchu. | ||
