For 2014, for 80% of the seats I think they will just re-nominate 2009 candidates or their relatives anukutunna. After 2014, seeing Sonia operate in other non-ruling states like Karnataka,Maha etc, I think she will consolidate state leadership under a CLP leader and PCC. She wont let too many leaders float around when in opposition. Ippudu ante different, they need everybody to survive. | ||

Kaani will TDP survive being in opposition for 14 years anedhi naa question. I think Cong will have easier time surving than TDP unless Cong + YSRCP enter a post-poll alliance. Ippatike lot of TDP supporters questioning if CBN is the right leader as nothing seems to working for them in several years. For how much longer, will TDP work under CBN before dis-integrating? I still think he is the right leader hit by bad circumstances. But, a lot of people are losing their patience already. Regarding media, I hear it only take 2-4 Crore investment to start a TV channel. Some channels (like ABN) might easily change their party preference after 2014. | ||

YSRCP is definitely in pole position for 2014. But, Cong is in much better position than TDP structurally. Cong leaders (all ministers + most of MPs) are billionaires because of their loot since 2004. So, I think Cong will be able to sustain much better than TDP after 2014 as the primary opposition ankuntunna. If TDP is able to sustain after 2014 election, then I would say CBN would have to be the most brilliant & hard-working politician in India. Also, Cong will win a decent number of MP seats in 2014. So, some of their strong MPs & possibly central ministers will continue to be in limelight. The problem that TDP faces now (and YSRCP will eventually face) is they would have a very hard time convincing their leaders to contest for MP seats. Because, they will be neither in ruling party or opposition at the Center. Even in its prime, lot of TDP MPs like Ayyanapatrudu, Ganta Srinvasa Rao, Venugoplachary always preferred to contest as MLAs than MPs. So, I think Cong would have an easy time winning MP seats. | ||

ippudu ikkada cong tdp matrame unte somebody has to lead cong kabatti somebody will emerge. guj lo cong bjp matrame unnayi. same with madya pradesh only those 2 major palyers maharastra lo ncp, shivasena , mms lanti party lu unankuda avi trs lanti party lo, thoka party lu ayyayi. andhra lo ysrc and tdp strong ga unte cong lo nundi inko okaru puttadam kastam. dheeniki major reason emiti ante oka aprty ni lead cheyali ante he has to spend lot of money , maintain his group, maintain his media etc, after he spend all that money lets say congress win . after he done all this he has to wait for highcommand to select him as chief minsiter. there is more possiblity they wont than they will. daniki example ysr in 2004. he spent his own money to do all this and m. satyanarayana rao announced ysr will be their cm candidate as pcc president . next day high command fired him coz he announced his name. ysr had to wait till elections were done and go and talk to them to get assurance . same thing after ysr died. ysr spent everything and took care of party during elections most of cong mla's supported jagan but he didnt get chance. so not many people take that rink and get into bankrup position like ysr did. i dont see anybody that got guts to do it in congress. | ||

I think somebody would emerge annai. Too important of a state (politiclly & financially) not to have anybody in his cotorie. In parties like Cong and BJP it is relatively easy to emerge out of nowhere. Examples: Narendra Modi (he was a nobody when Kesubai & Shanker Singh Vagela for fighting for supremacy in BJP), Shivraj Singh Chauvhan (3rd choice after Uma Bharathi), Prithiviraj Chauhan & Kiran Kumar Reddy. Of course, the first 2 went to become star leaders and the last two seem to be heading towards a failure. | ||

Whatever you might say about his ideologies, KTR's rhetorical skills are quite good. Till date, i have never seen Jagan even speak in front of a camera. KTR does really well in both TV studios and mass gatherings. If he was in a Congress of TDP, i would have put him down as a future CM candidate. | ||
