Muscle Gain will also increase fat. Fat loss will lose muscle. (can vary depending on genetics,like for example, some people gain more muscle than fat when overeating even though not exercising) If you exercise and gain weight, you will gain more muscle and less fat If you exercise and lose weight, you will lose more fat and less muscle If you don't exercise and gain weight, you will gain more fat and less muscle If you don't exercise and lose weight, you will lose more muscle and less fat To lose weight and look good, you want to go through a cycle of bulking following by a cycle of weight loss. |

In weight training you break them down (sets/reps) and you let them recover/rebuild while feeding lots of protein. Rebuilding takes 48 hrs so that is why you see people doing it alternative days. I don't think cardio is enough to break your muscles down and rebuild.

Your ideal breakfast should be mix of complex carbs like whole grains (slow release of energy), protein(yogurt/cheese) and or fiber(fullness). Try oats/wheat sandwich with cracked eggs, any kashi multi grain cereal etc If you want to loose weight dont eat any processed foods muffins/doughnuts/croissants or typical Indian breakfasts etc for breakfast.
