Muscle Gain will also increase fat.
Fat loss will lose muscle.

(can vary depending on genetics,like for example, some people gain more muscle than fat when overeating even though not exercising)
If you exercise and gain weight, you will gain more muscle and less fat
If you exercise and lose weight, you will lose more fat and less muscle
If you don't exercise and gain weight, you will gain more fat and less muscle
If you don't exercise and lose weight, you will lose more muscle and less fat

To lose weight and look good, you want to go through a cycle of bulking following by a cycle of weight loss.

weight taggali ante diet correct ga maintain cheyyali...only exercise does not help if you lift weights. If you do only cardio then you might loose easily but not if you lift any weight as you will build muscle.

as m_s said, aa targeted areas lo emanna vuntdochu .. muscle gain cheyadam anedi whole different theory. The human body breaks down and rebuilds all of the muscles every 2-4 weeks. In weight training you break them down (sets/reps) and you let them recover/rebuild while feeding lots of protein. Rebuilding takes 48 hrs so that is why you see people doing it alternative days. I don't think cardio is enough to break your muscles down and rebuild.

im prefering resistance bands to weights these days. much cheaper and lot more flexibility with the kind of excercises that can be done. yeah there might be some setup issues for chest excercises, but they can be handled.

depends on the muscle group thats getting effected with these sessions. muscles grow when they get stimulated, so if your session is working on a certain set of muscles, these muscles get stronger and bigger, not the rest, although there will be some improvement on the muscle.

Never skip breakfast and protein drink for breakfast is not a good idea. Your ideal breakfast should be mix of complex carbs like whole grains (slow release of energy), protein(yogurt/cheese) and or fiber(fullness). Try oats/wheat sandwich with cracked eggs, any kashi multi grain cereal etc If you want to loose weight dont eat any processed foods muffins/doughnuts/croissants or typical Indian breakfasts etc for breakfast.
