Will INS take a compliant from you when you dont own the movie (for that matter as you are a director and already charged some 5-10 crores package you dont own the movie any where. I dont ask for sure on how much you are paying tax on that money and how much tax you are evading) 2. Lets for a moment assume that local distributor want to take action against pirates and downloaders. There are lot of technicalities because of which this is not possible and because of the same ofcourse even Holly piracy cannot be controlled. Even keeping them aside, there are some basic questions if they want to take action: A. Are the books clean of these Distributors and Exhibitors who screen Indian movies? B. Are they paying taxes on 15-20$ they are charging for the movie? C. Are they getting movie censored again once it comes from India (It will be interesting to know how some one can screen a premiere show 3 hours from the time print is arrived in airport if they get it censored?
