Story CBN an opposition leader, is a top-notch professional politician in AP. He maneuvers his operations with the help of his foe (Kikure). In one such operation, he falls into the eyes of the TRS. While fleeing from the scene, he unintentionally becomes the cause for the unconsciousness of his cadre called TTDP, a unit which is already badly bruised in 2009 elections. CBN assumes the identity of Raithu Veera and enters AP paddy fields in the name of Raithu Poru Baata all round the state to avoid TRS. The rest of the story is all about how CBN solves all the problems. Artists Performance CBN: CBN is stylish and brilliant as professional politician. He suited the profile of CBN to the tee. He lives up to his image of Astute Politician with his meticulous planning. He transformed smoothly from the character of CBN cornered by all lame parties to CBN The Leader, yet shown the variation in histrionics that come out due to CBN The leaders guiltiness to impersonate the one cornered by TRS and YSRC . Congress(Heroine): Congress is in her elements in this film with traditional gameplan and cute trademark mannerisms only possible for it. The only difference between her characters in earlier movies and this film is that the voice dubbed by Botsa is akin to a telugu saying�Reku Dabbaloo Gulaka Raallu�, which is good. However, her role in this film is less compared to her past films. Other assets of her like Telangana Congress and all are covered under thick costumes and jewelery giving no scope for any exposure. If someone was expecting a generous skin show, they are disappointed. Others: KTR is perfect. Harish rao is adequate as the goon Interesting is the tension which is not open but is evident in each and every scene between them. . Kodanda rams role was brief and uninteresting. KCR's get-up and dialogue delivery is different when compared to the roles he is offered these days. We can see him very less. Only voice is used here and there. EEtela is effectively used for a comedy fight in this film. Telangana People donned the role of an old man. Frail voice dubbing by Media suited them. VijayaShanti and Motkupalli succeeded in creating good humor. Errabelli is good as loyal friend. Kikure and YS Jagan are adequate. Ghulam Nabi Azad did guest appearance as CBI's local chief. Technical Departments: Story: The thread of CBN and Kikure seem to have roots in Sylvester Stallone's Assassins. (Kikure seems to be always brooding over the fact that it was they who have given life to CBN in Politics) The thread of hero masquerading as some other person has similarities to the storyline of Varasudocchadu. These two threads are interwoven to make this story. The story of this film is entirely different from CBN's earlier films as story writer. Screenplay - direction: CBN is known for his class entertainers that are loaded with sensible humor and nice emotional quotient. He tried something different for this film. The way he opened the film with a Anantpur trip is terrific. You feel like you are watching Ram Gopal Varma's film in the first half an hour. His taking is trendy and stylish. When the scene shifts to Telangana, CBN tries to lace in his typical guileness. The screenplay of the film is not binding enough to blend these two stories (contract killer story and masquerader story). Although there is a connectivity gap between the first and second halfs. The movie slowly picked up and hit a peak just before the climax. The climax was brilliant meticulously planned and executed. You have to give it to the Hero, Director, Script Writer The one and Only CBNNNNNNN. The support from the crew of the movie should be commended. The following scenes of the film are brilliant - 1. The first shot where CBN launched his tour in Anantpur. 2. The rewinding scene in which Motkupalli stabs somebody in the build up to the climax 3. Motkupallis's bargain with KTR over Television 4. CBN telling heroine that she is being cheated. 5. CBN delivering the message to people 6. CBNs first encounter with Nalgonda 7. CBN's tour in Medak 8. Kodanda rams comedy episode (nuts & bolts) 9. CBN's last encounter with TRS in Warangal The following scenes seem to drew inspiration from Hollywood flicks - 1. Hero racing to Warangal from Hyderabad - The Transporter 2. Kodandam Silence in the climax � The Mime Shows The following logics are unexplained - 1. What made CBN turn into being hated in Telangana? 2. Why would Kikure help CBN although they are rivals and not in talking terms? 3. What happened to jagan in the kid's episode and why he reveals the names of his protégés in the interrogation ? 4. The people of Telangana and Seem andhra readily accepting masquerader(CBN) even without an iota of doubt. Photography: Photography of the film is terrific. The camera angles, shot framing, lighting effects and camera movements are appropriate to the respective scenes. A tint is used for the first half an hour of the film which made this film appear like the Hollywood films made with Mexican backdrop. Cinematographer Ramoji Rao deserves a pat on his back for his fine work. Fights: Fights by Chandra Dandu are excellent. All the fights in this film are powerful and natural looking. Only for the fights in climax wires and threadwork was used. Two separate fights involving KTR and Vijaya Sahnti have lots of humor injected in them. It is very difficult to make the fights appeal to Andhra Pradesh audiences when shootout (pistol) is involved. But the shootouts in this film are an exception. Dialogues: CBN is known for his bland dialogues with depth and intensity which may not appeal in the first hearing but are slow poison. This film has limited punch dialogues compared to other movies, which is understandable because of his limitations. Still, the comedy dialogues written for Kodanda ram and VijayaShanti are good. The way CBN compared the development during his regime and the anarchy and directionlessness of KCR was received well by the people. The point made by CBN regarding KCR taking the emotions of people to the peak and dropping in mid air received loud applause Music: Music by TDP is good. The picturization of the first song (title song) which comes as background song for titles is wonderful. Raithu poru baata is a teasing song between the lead pair in Road set with other artists participating in. Other songs filled the movie soothing the tensed nerves. Other departments:. Production values by Jayabheri banner are grand. Analysis: The film opens in a bland style. Everyone wonders why anantpur. What is Raithu poru baata. The first half an hour of the film is passable. The remaining part of the first half is little boring with slow narration. The second half of the film picks up after the Title Song played in Nalgonda. It suddenly takes a violent turn from Adilabad to Warangal. It�s a roller coaster ride. The positive points of the film are CBn, CBN's taking, Ramoji�s photography, fights of Chandra Dandu and dialogues. The negative points of the film are not being able to blend in two stories well and not able to get the emotions worked out for Telangana scenes in the second half. On a whole, this film is a decent flick for class audiences. The commercial success of the film would depend on how masses embrace it. You already watched it. The Heros graph raised like anything with this movie. The Sankranti race is getting hotter with the release of Jagans Deeksha in Nizamabad scheduled for later this week.} | ||
