Panjaa is an out and out mass commercial masala movie. This is a typical movie that can succeed in Telugu. Oka Mass commercial Action bomma lo janaalu eelalu vesi excite ayye scenes undaali. This is the formula rajamouli follows, migataa katha daanni chuttoo alleyyochu. Panjaa lo ilaanti scenes pushkalangaa gaa unnayi. But, how are they executed?: 1. Introduction scene - villian hero gurinchi build up istaadu. Ee situation chaala movies lo raavu. Panja story lo aa situation vachindi. When villain starts about Guru and goes into talking about Jai, aa flashes of showing Pawan wearing a suit. Its a classic, adiripoyyindi. But, when Pawan is shown, BGM is bland. And Pawan choopinche emotion is regular. Akkada miss ayyindi scene lo intensity. Rating for this scene - 3/5. BGM baaga padi unte adiripoyyedi. 2. Hero going to Villian and villian offering him money: Ikkada Jai nenu maata ichindi tanaki neeku kaadu ani Sampath meeda gun pette scene super. Again same as above, no elevation with BGM. Scene pandaledu as it should have been. Rating for this scene - 3/5 3. Jai going to get Sabha - key scene of the movie. Mundu Sampath koduku kidnap ayyadu ani choopinchakundaa, Jai velli Sabha ni teesukochetappudu kidnap ayyadu ani open chesi Raja laaga bayataku vachinte adiripoyyedi. screenplay issue. Rating for scene - 2.5/5 4. Jai killing Adivi Sesh - This scene would have made the movie Blockbuster if executed properly. Idi Rajamouli ki ichinte alladinchevaadu. Telipoyyindi scene, BGM weak and flat direction, the scenes following should have got elevated, but flat aipoyyayi - 1/5 5. Jai utti kotte scene - Superbly executed - 5/5 6. Jai Sambasivudu tho fight in night and subsequent killing - bland gaa teesaadu, Director ki ilaanti scenes cheyyadam raadu ani telipoyyindi. Pawan ki ilaantivi interest undavemo. Idi chatrapathi Katraj type lo undaalsina scene - 1/5 7. Paparayudu Song - idi trailor release cheyyakundaa surprise package laa undi unte adiripoyyedi. Still, its executed very well - 4/5 8. Jai being attacked - Subbaraju tho Jai cheptaadu - ee paatiki nenento neeku artham ayyi untundi. Again peak ki ellalsina scene BGM lekundaa chaala lite gaa aipoyyindi - 2/5 9. Climax - Dialogues baagunna, proper execution and elevation raaledu due to poor direction and BGM again. Fell flat - 2.5/5 Ee scenes proper gaa execute chesi unte this would have been a blockbuster. comedy is apt for the movie. Love scenes are OK. Full length songs petti, 1st song title song petti, aa veyyiraa song Anjali ni champe lead scene lo petti, 4th song complete gaa petti unte this would have been a complete movie. Manchi chance miss ayyindi. Overall Panja has flashes of brilliance, but fell flat due to improper execution of the key scenes. Yuvan ni blame cheyyakoodadu anukuntunna as thats how probably Vishnu and pawan would have liked the BGM. Ee bomma either RGV or Rajamouli or VVV or Trivikram evari chetilo padina BB ayyedi. Also, Producers publicity for this movie should have been different. Shadow title saripoyyedi than Panja.
