పెళ్లిరోజే వరుడు కట్నం డబ్బుతో సహా పరారైన ఘటన గుంటూరులోని ఆనందపేటలో జరిగింది. పెళ్లిరోజే పెళ్లికొడుకు కనిపించకుండాపోయాడు. ఈరోజు ఉదయం 10 గంటలకు పెళ్లి జరగాల్సి ఉండగా వరుడు ఇర్ఫాన్‌ కనిపించలేదు. పెళ్లికూతురు నచ్చలేదని రాసి పారిపోవటంతో అతని తల్లిదండ్రులు పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదుచేశారు. పారిపోతూ కట్నం డబ్బు లక్షరూపాయలు కూడా పట్టుకుపోయాడని వారు ఫిర్యాదులో పేర్కొన్నారు. దీంతో మనస్తాపం చెందిన వధువు ఉరివేసుకుని ఆత్మహత్యకు యత్నించింది. కుటుంబసభ్యులు కాపాడి ఆసుపత్రిలో చికిత్సకోసం చేర్చారు.
