Sunny as a batsman in his career never ever did that. Crease lo undatam and protecting wkts anedi mantra to his success.
Anyways like i said, looking back it appears deliberate and that is my personal opinion..i know not everyone will agree to it. |

the genius hansie was at studying his opponent...he wud instruct all his bowlers bowl the same ball...tag slower, shortish on middle stump...caught at midwicket...
and fanie was the perfect exponent of it
90s lo there were two really good captains
mark taylor who focus was utilizing his teams strengths

Dude we r chasing at that time and this a ODI...I dont know if u read about 87 world cup but during that cup for the first time sunny scored a century in ODI against NZ and there were lot of unconventional shots and krish srikk n sunny exchanged roles in few matches....there was new sunny in that tourni and during the quest for more improvisation and with combination of a freak deliver he was bowled....as i said just b4 he got out a smilar deliver but a little bit slower n little bit out of line was sent to fine leg for 4 and he was out trying to do same as far as i recollect |

Elcaminocapastrino:87 world cup lo sunny bowl iina bowl was a good delivery....it was early in the game and new ball and sometimes defrietas could do that to the ball that is pitched outside off n swings to leg and batsman confuse its coming on to middle stump....i saw him deliver a same bowl to someone else in 96 cup ....he is an ok bowler but freak lo ilanti deliveries esthuntadu and gavaskar was beaten genuinely
and if india had won that cup the corporate people promised them loads of wealth...i dont think they threw it away....

87 worldcup semis was in calcultta??? bengalis threw bananas on sunnys wife and sunny got upset and swore he would never come to eden... so aa theory chadhivanu for sometime for his 87 semi failure...
but just before he was bowled sunny worked a similar delivery to boundary by nudging the ball by pickin it on middle stump n directing it towards fine leg for a 4...
next same shot kottaboyi out iyyadu...i watched that rerun of match during 92 world cup...it felt genuine.... |

fixing ki ippatiki radar oki vachcindhi......and so many cameras folllwing you......
it would have much easier to pull it off then antaa nenu aithey.....
there was one particlar match when salim malik thrashed us at eden gardens......36 balls 72........we were winning this match......Kapil bowled and gave 18 runs and then spin...maninder bowled and gave 19......ila jarigindhi......rest is history.....salim malik has become a dashing batsman........
ofcourse......he was later involved in fixing...ani thelindhi......
kapil chesedu anatledhu.......jsut one instance......where runrate was hardly aroudn 4.5 with 7 wickets down and this unknown guy blasts off legend of cricket in the one of our biggest grounds.....
