its also with metabolism, males usually have more metabolism than women and also muscles burn more calories. try to build little muscle and you can see the difference.

I am totally against it. Take good care man. loosing 3 pounds for week is not for guy like us. you should be under observation to loose that much weight.

I am not the one on a weight loss plan here. But I am telling you what any gym and trainer would tell you.

And yes, I do workout with a trainer as part of my fitness program.

A pound of body fat equates to approximately 3500 calories. So if you have a calorie deficit of 500 calories (meaning that you burn 500 calories more than you eat each day) you would lose approximately one pound per week:

It's easy to see that a calorie deficit of 1000 calories would mean that you'd lose approximately two pounds per week. And that's a good number to remember, because two pounds a week is commonly accepted as the maximum rate of weight loss that is healthy.

Losing lots of weight too quickly has it's own disadvantages. But 2.5 a week is not that high I don't think. I am sure Mav & his doctor knows what he is doing.

There is nothing like cutting carbs.. you would get better result when you have carbs with some protins and vitamins.

Example: Having rice with chicken and spinach and beans which would slow the process of digesting carbs. That is what brown rice does.

Doctors also suggest that. Having 5 roties is similar to having chicken with rice. Do not ever misguided with carbs diet.




Well, eating brown rice makes my cheeks puffy or chubby which looks very odd when your body is not used to it.....& my weight has increased 10 pounds more.
One thing I've noticed is Dietary Carbs causes indigestion problems and its hard to burn those carbs even after rigorous workouts.....

These days, I started eating Udipi rice, which tastes very very good and it has less than 5% carbs.

I am not just saying anything. I really faced what i faces. I too lost 15 pounds in 2 months. My doctor was very concerned when i told him. He did full health checkup to make sure everything is ok.

30 pounds in 3 months is not healthy. You might be killing your body to squeeze. It is not healthy. I do not think you are in hurry to loose weight. You should need at least 8 months to loose 30 pounds

instead of chapathis, get low carb tortillas (5gms vi dorkuthai) afternoon 1 and night 1 with fiber more vegtable curries and you can have chicken, prawns, fish, egg with less oil

I started eating only yogurt rice since 1 month....and make sure the rice bag says 0 carbs/dietary carbs or atleast less than 5 carbs on it.

every food item meeda if carbs amount is more than 5 cal/serving...I simply avoid it.....


And breakfast ki Egg Whites only..
