Christians in India are not actual Christians....they follow their caste identity despite their conversions. Take an example of nasrani Christians in Kerala they are Brahmin converts of Kerala who marry only among themselves..... ST reservation is not based on religion identity....So, despite of converting into Christianity, they can avail the reservation. STs are tribals who avail the reservation based on the place, customs and practices, genealogy. While SC reservation is based on specific circumstances and bounded to religion and discrimination within the religion. Identity as a group in religion gives that provision.
