I know there has been extreme anxiety for the past few days and shall continue till results. Just thought would share one more view. Post discussions with some seasoned people, they were very clear that YCP is getting nothing less than 100. Now that it has been a few days since polling, a lot of trends coming out and experienced analysts are able to get a pulse. Highlights: 1. Caste based voting pattern has dominated. Jagan has successfully retained Reds, SC, ST and Muslim votes apart from diluting certain BC and Kop vote banks of TDP. 2. Muslim voting is the major game changer. TDP assumed that Jagans proximity to BJP shall shift Muslim votes to them. But this hasn't happened. 3. From all the above castes, everyone has solidly voted for YCP incl. Ladies and elderly. Welfare schemes DID NOT have an impact on Jagans Core Vote Bank. 4. Babu's Core Vote Banks in turn like BC, Kops and other Forward Castes have got diluted by YCP and JSP. 5. Impact of Welfare Schemes like Pasupu Kumkuma and Pensions are not big enough to have overcome the above points as Ladies, elders from Jagans core votes haven't budged. 6. Most importantly, People have decided for Change and as Sasibob long back said, 'Gulaanandam',to put it crudely, to give Jagan a chance after seeing him struggle since 2009. 7. EVM impact is there to an extent, but not to an extent where it affects base result. 8. Jagans YCP to get nothing less than 100 and if there is a wave, cud go up to 130. 9. JSP to have a limited impact with around 3-4 seats. So, bottomline is, Dear TTs, don't get overexcited in any way like during T Assembly Elections and do not entertain bettings. More importantly, remember this to mentally prepare yourself and brace for the impact. There shall be many morale affecting shockers. YCPIANS, Hearty Congratulations in Advance.
