the idea behind duke tip is to have find kids who are 2 + years ahead of learning cure , these kids are supposed to be gifted and they are well ahead of others. Unfortunately , all Indian kids who attend Kumon or other program will do good in Math and will qualify for those and do good in Math PSAT PSAT 8/9 is what they offer for kids 4/5/6 , this is not the 10'th grade PSAT - | ||

Did she join duke tip or got selected to take duke tip assessment test? 95% in State assessment test is the criteria annaru.. and pretty much 99% desi kids fall in 95% above state assessment tests. Almost all Indian kids qualify for Duke tip , qualification is to get A in End of grade test in English or math . Once you enrol you kid, the can read some articles free on website, buy some books , qualify to attempt PSAT in 4/5/6 grades. Cost is $40 for duke and $40 for any PSAT exam - | ||

TI ji, My son got into this program this year. He is in 4th grade. OlMajor advantage that I found is that, the kid can take PSAT in earlier grades (5th or 6th) and qualify for 7th grade Tip program or know where they stand sooner than later.
