Got it. It is true. Insurance Companies bid/quote based on number of employees and in some cases, historical data (health checkup data, insurance claims etc). Sir: I am talking about insurance premium, which is fixed. What employee pays may be different as the company offers the premium share as a benefit of the employment. For example, I pay FULL premium (100%) while my co-worker pays 20% of it, we both had a different payment terms/benefits arrangement with our SAME employer. | ||

Fundamental is : Insurance premium is solely depends on what is covered for what kind of insured for which area. Not on what is your salary/networth/earnings etc. (true for any kind of insurance). Any time the question of "How much you are paying for your insurance" is a WRONG question. If someone answers a wrong question directly, its obvious WRONG answer. Having said that, How much you are paying premium for what coverage is a valid fact. Coverage includes deductible, copay, conditions covered, in and out of network and many more facts. | ||

yes medical insurance.. i used to pay 1300 from my company, what ever i do some of the services are not covered under the small business insurance plans, than i switched to kaiser,i checked with kaiser for coverages before enrolling into it,later kaiser gadu state mandate ledu ani VA lo aa services cover cheyamu MD lo cover chesthamu annadu, thu denemma jeevitham ani ma vendor gadini request chesthe vaadi plan lo include chesadu, though i am a contractor, i was paying 1400 for HSA a plan , at least that plan was covering the services i need with 6000/12000 deductible.. i paid first 6000 than after 11 months contract over, i have to enroll in COBRA, current employer gadu 1300/month cover chesthunnadu starting from 1/01/2019 since it is high deductible plan for 2 months i have to enroll in cobra...hoping that from 01/01/2019 they covered the services i need, i checked with aetna and HR, spent several hours researching...they confirmed it, but until the plan kicks in i am not 100% sure, fingers crossed.. health insurance is such a mess..i am cursing nallodu every day out of frustration , i know it is not going to provide any solution.. It's ok | ||

here in Europe health insurance is mandatory ..... the premium you pay is dependent on your salary.... if a guy just gets 1k/month his premium will be 100.... if he gets 6k/ month ...he has a premium between 600-1000k depending on number of dependants he has in the household....
