i see why it might appear institutionalized, the only reason i think like that is because i lack the confidence in society. i might be wrong or right in this regard, but the institutions are in the control of people eventually, without that process, i dont believe people are in a position to make sane decisions.. again, i might be wrong or right, but it is true that people want these institutions - and sometimes they can be a hindrance.

right now, Sabarimala is managed by Kerala's state government. the reason for this case to be in supreme court is because people disputed with kerala government as well as the temple's stand. Kerala government's stand is the same as keeping the tradition. In this case - its People vs Kerala state and temple board People want women's entry - when i say people, the folks who filed the case Kerala state and temple devastham wants to preserve tradition - when the case started. from what i read, kerala government has flipflopped atleast a couple of times on the stance, while temple board has always sticked with the tradition.
while we dont have to put things into silos.. we dont have to make it a sweeping consideration is either. we could discuss various role players in this issue, and their contribution for the mess - i have no issue with it. | ||
