My sleep quality improved after I started chanting a manthra before I go to bed...

I second the L-theanine.

Stay away from melatonin. It's a delicate hormone produced naturally and should not be touched. If your circadian rhythms are off. Expose yourself to sunlight on face at least for 10 mins within half hour of waking and shut down blue screens by 8.00 pm and wear yellow glasses to block bright light.

Sleep hygiene like maintaining same schedule, temperature and mood are important to get back to normal.

I prefer waking up late in the morning....sound sleep vachhe dhe morning....kaani kudaradu....6.15 AM legavali....

Stomach inflammation vunte...aaa roju disturbed sleep.... pappu thinte aaa roju gone case... severe bloating and disturbs sleep...

Thyroid malfunction vunna, iron deficiency vunna, D vitamin deficeincy vunna...can cause fatigue and disturb sleep...

it depends ..when my body demands more sleep I may go to bed as early as 9:30
when it doesnt then even 1am ..

oka two days 5hrs sleep esanante third day body demands full 8hrs and go to bed early.

i just listen to my body ..

good thread. I used to have some issues with sleep long back (when I was on bench with no job,no H1 or no GC or low wage job etc., times).

Once I felt secure totally change my schedule. No matter what I get up at 5 or before 5.30 or working days and at the max 6.15-6.30 on weekend. If needed will sleep on Sat noon for couple hours. That makes me hit the bed by 10 during night. Also started walking (compulsory rain or shine) during weekdays for min of 40 mins.

no major change in diet but trying to reduce content of sweets, sugar etc., and less on rice.

for me the principle of getting up early in the morning no matter when I sleep at night is working

For few days I tried to follow damaxian sleep and it failed......

Now I sleep between 5-8 hours a day....depending on the physical activity....
Capacity vundi, laziness, and uninspired life is a waste of time.
YOLO kada....

There are very few days that I can sleep by 11.

work reasons aithey OK kani
just for the sake of it dont do it

i used to go to bed at 11:00
slowly moved to 11:30 and then 12 and then to 1
recent india visit lo inkoncham ekkuvayyi
when i came back here, again due to jet lag and stress
i wasn't sleeping well, i used to feel tired, tardiness, sleepy during day time
sometimes after lunch theleekunda kunukattesedhi for 10 mins

ivanni ponu, guraka ekkuvayyi, gasping for breath etc kuda start ayyindhi

finally recently diagnoised with sleep apnea
