After watching the movie for the 2nd time, I would like to change my rating to 3.75/5 No flaw came to my mind this time. It was a treat. Thoroughly enjoyed every scene of the movie. Asalu Seema lo ye range lo enjoy chestunnaro oohinchukolekapotunna. Intha mass movie chala rojulu ayindi. Peaks !!! Looks like Trivikram movies grow on you like Athadu. Special mention to Thaman again for mind blowing background score. | ||

October 10th, 7:50 PM show, Detroit. NTR and Trivikram combo was a huge talking point over the years till the release of Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava and it will remain the same in the future too, because this combo delivered a unique movie which gets a different treatment though the story has a routine and predictable factionist backdrop. After watching this movie, I'm waiting for more from this combo. NTR never stops to amaze. I don't see any hero even coming close as far as pure acting is concerned. In just 15 minutes into the movie, he shows a intense range of emotions that's enough for a complete movie. NTR fans who are waiting for an out and out mass movie should thank Trivikram. Mutton Biryani with double masala for them. Some of the best Hero elevation scenes for NTR in a long time. Jagapathi Babu rocked his role and went to great lengths to look like a menacing faction leader. One of his best performances ever. Pooja Hedge did a good job with the dubbing, which I earlier doubted. Naresh and Sunil were as usual entertaining in their roles. Everyone including Naveen Chandra and Brahmaji had their moments. Trivikram really owned the story and kept it close to his heart. You don't see any deviations and his dialogues make you think. Authentic Raayalaseema slang is another highlight from the Director. Kudos to him sticking to nativity which elevates the dialogue. Thaman's background score is terrific. I think he shut all the doubters with his work. When Trivikram clearly told him not to give Dance numbers and Hindi worded tunes, Obviously they will not be the usual superhit thaman tunes and the scope is only 4 songs. Great job overall. Special mention to the Fight sequences. Looked great on screen. Coming to negatives, The Length of the movie and Editing should've been taken care of. When the story is predictable, the movie may appear preachy and not really move the audience emotions. Penimiti song was a goldmine which was used poorly. Also, I personally wanted more depth in Jagapathi babu's character. More shades to it but he's a routine villian. I also felt Trivikram missed utilising Devayani properly. Imagine a proper emotional scene between Veera Raghava and his mother. Would've worked wonders. Overall, A Good Mass Movie with great action scenes, Performances and tight storyline. There are few flaws but the general audience should like it and the Fans must Love it. Rating: 3.25/5 |
