actually, those are myths created by vested interests. you have to understand the car better to optimize maintenence costs. hyundai vadu, every 6months ki, avasaram lekunna, car wash, wheel alignement lantivi chesi, 8k bill ichevadu. slowly, i removed unnecessary items to bring it back to 12k per annum, which is at par with maruti. as i said, its jack of all with great interiors and features. check the service interval. these days its 1yr. btw, cheapest maintainence these days is ford vehicles. For your usage and the current fuel rates, Petrol Makes the most sense. As far as Petrol Vehicles go in Sub 20 lacs segment, The Golden rule is: Honda and Maruthi have the most efficient Petrol Engines. Period. Nowadays the trend is to go for Auto Gear Boxes due to increased traffic and convenience. AMTs are pretty basic Auto Gear Boxes. In terms of performance and efficiency: AMT<CVT<Torque Converter<Dual Clutch Considering your budget and requirement, I would recommend: Honda Jazz (CVT). It has the best combo of Efficient Engine and Gearbox apart from Honda reputation. It might be a lil stretch, but it shall be absolutely worth it. If you don't mind going for manual, look at the New Swift. P.S. If Performance is your requirement, Look no further than Abarth Punto or Polo TSI. But the fuel efficiency takes a massive hit. | ||

back seat space is same for polo and AMEO, which is its biggest drawback. for space, jazz, i20 and baleno are good.

We bought Baleno Petrol in 2016, car is bang for the buck but suspension is horrible...other than that its really good and really spacious....
Test drive chesamu while waiting for Baleno...asalu nachaledu...space is less compared to baleno, rear seat lo 3 people kastam where as baleno , no pick up even though it was a petrol version...overall not happy... | ||
