+1 but it is changing now. lot of official youtube uploads/suprisingly most telugu movies are being available in official hindi dub.. for eg naku monna okasari panjaa lo pk first time den ki elle scene chudalanipinchindi.. reached out goldmines hindi channel popular for telugu dubs.. watched the scene and enjoyed the bgm guiltfree | ||

Recently my kids out of blue wanted to watch sarwanands ‘express raja’ - they enjoyed it in theatre and for some reason remembered it and asked me to find it.. could not find it in prime.. did not want to play pirated one.. could have tried yupp or something like that but lost patience Telugu movies are not available easily at hand for pay per view | ||

I dont.. atleast try to be cautious. I used to be active in torrents probably 10yrs ago. I was one of the initial contributors to the Gnutella project(Kazaa and limewire), and have a clear knowledge on how P2P networks and other file sharing networks, which are used quite a bit by the piracy organizations. I have stopped working on these projects, after I read extensively on how these networks are used by shady organizations,terrorist organizations, and saboteours. Folks who are saying, Telugu industry has no right to talk about piracy, in my opinion are getting it wrong. I think you are getting confused between the concepts of piracy, copyright infringement, and patents. Movies and Arts are in general are not patented, which means anyone can copy an idea, recreate a scene, redo a movie - although there are some rules that are applied. Plagiarism does not translate to piracy. I also believe that - Producers will take lesser risks if piracy is rampant. I understand most movies are not of great content, our reaction to it should be not watching them. that will mean, the producers and directors will stop making such movies. Instead, when we watch piracy movies, we are are fueling the network to get stronger, the piracy organistions to get more stronger, which means, even better and costlier movies will get the brunt of it. eventually - good movies lose out. ofcourse, I am sure most understand all of this  anyway - Piracy had become stronger with technology and technology again is the rescue. Netflix, Amazon prime and other steaming providers are the solution. Good movies - after the initialize release days/weeks, should immediately start streaming their movies. Will kill piracy fairly easily. | ||

I set my own rules. Frst option watch in theaters. Average about 70-100 movies (Telugu English Hindi tamil) If I miss in theater I wait and watch it in YouTube , mostly official links. I don’t watch video while the movie is still playing in theaters. Will watch after its telecasted in TVs No torrents, no downloads After 2-3 months if I don’t find in YouTube or amazon prime I search Other sources especially English Hindi tamil movies . Can’t bear the advts in Telugu tv channels Audio piracy : yes, I am guilty of doing this all along. Now only YouTube jukebox at home or some online apps like raaga, savan outside. | ||
