better to buy the house first and do refinancing later, you can refinance couple days before or after the closing, that way that hit wouldnt show up in your report for either of them, also all credit checks with in a month are considered as one hit, if you are buying a home or car, banks think you are shoping around for better interest rate. so get credit checks done, and wait till the closing and pull the plug on all of them at once. | ||

Here's what I did recently... I paid all my 7 cards to zero balances.. then I did a rate lock on my 2nd and 3rd card and did a re-finance on my 4th and 5th card. I used my 1st card to buy my 10th home and I used by 7th card to repay the loan on my 5th home.. Then I transferred the balance of my 5th card on to my 2nd card and then re-locked the rate on my 1st card.. Eventually it all worked out quite well at the end that I ended up with almost 2 million dollar surplus that I invested in my buying my 12th mansion house. | ||
