Most of the americans were are not able to afford houses because desis are buying left and right , while a house costed 200k, they are willing to pay 400k or more , just not one , but many and some even bring money from home.
This will definitely piss others who cannot afford homes

Not true. I know at least 10 families who backed out of buying a house after recent h1b issues.

They are mentally peaceful in the apartment.

In fall of 2015 I moved from LA to LA (Los Angeles to Lower Alabama). It was a big move but geographically things were pretty similar between Los Angeles and Mobile, AL; I was living a few blocks from I-10, I still do; I lived half an hour from some beautiful beaches aligned North-South, here same distance from beaches placed West to East. But one thing that was significantly different from LA was the negligible size of Indian community in Mobile, AL. What was surprising though was that more than 60% of Indians lived in one apartment complex. The Indians who owned houses were those who immigrated few decades back, the recent ones who were legal immigrants on H1B visa were not buying houses.

Coincidentally I had moved in the same apartment complex as them and my daughter loved going to a birthday party almost every weekend, we celebrated every Indian festival and with time I got to know the untold rule "you don't buy a house until you got legal permanent residency (Green Card)", and the first thing they did after getting Green Card was to close on a house. Most of them had annual household income of more than a hundred thousand dollars but are avoiding purchasing a home, for obvious reason they are worried about visa renewal all the time and if it doesn't renew that means leaving US within a week. Being on H1 myself I took the chance and bought a home not sure if this decision is brave or stupid, only time will tell.

There are 306,601 legal Indian immigrants that are waiting for more than a decade to get the Green Card, as per most recent census data the median household income of Indians is $107,000. Based on basic home affordability calculators, each of these individuals can buy a home worth $405,385. This is potential $123 billion that the US real estate sector is missing out on that can give a boost to the flailing housing sector. Thus it makes both common sense and great economic sense for US lawmakers to immediately resolve the Green Card backlog issue that will allow Indians to make the big leap into home ownership and infuse much required cash in the weakening housing sector.
