One thing to note is that this England team has fast learners. Possibly because of the team that analyses opposition frailties fast. One left wing idea would be to get a different spinner in each test. Not necessarily five different spinners. 2 or 3 to be rotated. That way, their batsmen will not be prepared. DO NOT DROP Rahane and Pujara. They may not win the games on their own but they can definitely save some games. Not having Saha is a big blow because he has been spectacular behind the wickets. DK is safe but all it takes is one dropped catch. He needs a lot of good fortune. | ||

that is really surprising..T20/ODI is a preparation for Test Team laaga chesaru..which may not be good.. some players played in India-A team ..same with England players.. | ||

for me...it starts with openers.... last visit...vijay palyed well and long innings at Lords and we won the game.... first 30 overs.....negotiate chesthey.....until it revrse swings....england has not much to offer......ofcourse anderson....can get it to reverse much before.... tight schedule withnot much gap between each test...so fitness key......the only thing....we can do.....without opposition interference is fielding......because batting department......unless India surprises.....England look solid..... Ishant sharma.....which version of him turns up may be the issue......Hardik....not just bowling.....he has too play one of the those innings in late order....5 tests...10 innings....he has to contribute...if he is playing.. Pujara/Rahaney are keys to kill time....in the middle.....with reasonable scoring and Kohli to have a decent series (i doubt)..... there is no way....this present indian team will play match for 5 days and 450 overs against england......so......the shorter england batting time is...the more the chances.....not just score.....time......because i think....indian team doesnt have that patience.....to stay that long...... hope first test.....we dont.....just succumb and give them advantage.....hotter conditions....should favour...us to stay more at the crease.... lastly i dont have much faith in spinners......hope im completely wrong on this one...and our guys pull it off....... my view.... For years I struggle to understand why 1 batsmen/bowler becomes a nightmare for Team India, where as viceversa is never the case in spite of having so many superstars...we have Kohli who is better than Root in my opinion, but still Indians look vulnerable...I was disappointed with Kohli's performance in ODI 2 and 3... and now with those performances, losing out Bhuvi, spinners being ineffective, test series looks daunting... | ||
