Applied through Dice...online portal...some one from HR called, setup two rounds of technical interviews and once selected, they applied for H1 etc.. After joining, if you join these companies directly at onsite, they are not mandated to give you a job at offshore once the project ends..so they will not ask you to go back, instead they will ask you to move to a different US location where they have other projects...If you are not moving, you have to resign here... In case you want to go to offshore, you can convince your manager and get a project allocation in India and then again Indian HR will call you to fix salary and all before you move back...its not automatic like how people from offshore come here go back... Regarding getting treated, its how you let them treat you...you can strictly stick to your timings and work like a USC...but its just that don't expect excellent appraisals and quick promotions...bcos you are getting compared to thousands of others who are putting so much extra effort to make their projects success simultaneously helping company get more projects for the same salary as you... | ||
