In the previous match yes. But when we consider Bhuvi, Bumrah back in the attack, we are better than what England has on the other side.
I somehow feel that he has gotten better in the last eight months or so. Hopefully he will control his length.

thats what i mean, they lack anchor bowlers... everyone is a decent bowler, but not experienced enough to a carry an attack. there needs to be a strike bowler, who the opposition needs to consider a threat and keep them on toes, even if its just a perception. | ||

adil rashid no disrespect.....is a misfit for an intl team.....he can bat a bit that would not be the criteria..... woakes...is a proper 10 over bowler....but not a menacing one....a bit more disciplined anthey..... light examples but....Darren gough or dominic cork mould lo okadu.....undakapothey......batting lo work ainantha experimentation bowling lo work out avvakapovacchu......england varaku...If you notice....when they loose....they loose tamely.....not close..... just my view... England are getting wrong in the bowling department.... variety thokka ani.... Dernbach, plunkett anukuntu.....conventional bowlers ni pakkana pettaru...... Jordan is useful.....but flynn type gallu....dependable undaali....he is a bit weak but someone like that who bowls....straight and length.....and using conditions..... what is the use....if you score 350 but cant defend.... simple...they didnt give any guy a long run.....and too much dependance on ali type part timers.... We are missing bhuvi and bumrah....our top bowlers... Umesh is good. I don't know how far siddarth will succeed. For tests we have backup bowlers like ishant and shami .. For one days we have in experienced bowlers like shardul , kaul etc. Sensation(About Bala):He can win in atleast half of the segments in Rayalaseema. Emi matladutunnavo neeku telusa. I dont think all our bowling unit is strong... Just the diff between our team and england team is Kuldeep... They also have strong batting lineup... without kuldeep they would have easily posted 350 target... Unless Bhuvi is in we dont have any other good bowler to rely on except for Kuldeep... I agree that our batsman are capable of chasing 350 target.. | ||

I cannot recollect when was the last time a touring Indian team had a stronger bowling attack to England - this One day series was going to be a challenge for English batsmen rather than for the Indian batsmen. Although I do not agree to the extent of ICCs control on the types of pitches that need to be provided for international matches, these pitches we are going to see for the series are in favor of indian batsmen, and spinners as well. On that note, Indian team is the favorites for this ODI series. The main concern from the indian side is the injury of their main seamers, and so it is for the English team. In th end, it was a no contest. From the scores, England team seems to have scored atleast a 100 less, than what they managed to, and that says alot of the quality or lack of it, in this match. Jason Roy - started of with ease against the lackluster indian seamers, but forced himself against Kuldeep. Probably on his mind, he thought if he starts of with domination on Kuldeep like he did in the 2nd T20, he can Kuldeep in a defensive mood. Not a bad ploy from where the score was, but it backfired. Bairstow - unless he reads Kuldeep's googlies, he will have a tough time. first t20, and this game, he got out to the same exact delivery... it was like a replay. Root - looks like he is an aweful form, unfortunately. he is not moving legs and getting stuck on the backfoot. Morgan - he was a bit reckless, and should have tried to hold on and see through Kuldeep and Chahal. but probably wanted to keep the scoring rate high, based on what they scored in their previous games here. Butler - continuing with his awesome form Stokes - he struggled, and struggled and struggled abit more until he got out. but atleast he applied himself. if he were going to be slow, he should have been put into bat, before Morgan. Ali/Rasheed - like I said earlier, they are no where near the quality of indian spinners. Shikhar - looks like he is in good nick.. a big innings is around the corner. Rohith - awesome again, in the first two T20s he was trying to use alot of power in his shorts, but in the last two games he is backed to his relaxed self... and just timing the ball. treat to watch Kohli - back in good form, no hesitation in his play. if this continues, he will do great in tests. Kuldeep - nightmare for the english batsmen right now. the lack of pace in his deliveries is killing the english batsmen who are trying to score at fast rate. Chahal - bowling too many short deliveries, but decent Umesh - was pretty bad today.. out of his 10 attempted yorkers, there was one that as decent. completely off length Kaul - did not threaten much.. |
